Dental Implants – The Natural Choice
Dental Implants are the most natural and are the treatment of choice for effective replacement of missing teeth. Dental Implants provide a foundation or literally a new root for replacement teeth ( Zirconia Dental Crowns or Zirconia Bridges ) that look, feel, and function similarly to natural teeth. Dental Implants can be made of titanium which is a metal color or Dental Implants can be made of Zirconia which is a tooth-colored material. Both materials have advantages and disadvantages.
Whether you are missing teeth because of dental disease, tooth decay, or dental trauma, we can give you the opportunity to look better and feel better, to eat anything you want, and to talk in front of other people with confidence by selecting Dental Implants to replace your missing teeth.
Dental Implants can be used to do many different things, but in general Dental Implants can be used to replace single teeth by supporting a single Dental Zirconia Crown. All implants use a connector called an Implant Abutment. Abutments are varied but are specific to what is being connected to the implant. Dental Implants can also be used to connect spans of missing teeth or even an entire row of missing lower or upper teeth. Another use for a Dental Implant is to secure or to retain a Partial Denture or Complete Denture using a special Implant Abutment called a Locator Abutment.
Dental Implants are best placed at the time a tooth that cannot be fixe is being extracted. When Implants are placed at the time of Dental Extraction, it is called an Immediate Dental Implant Placement. At the time of Dental Extraction, gum and bone tissue is ready to heal and if an implant is placed, the gum and bone tissue will heal around and attach to the “new root” or Dental Implant. Immediate Dental Implant Placement preserves bone and prevents the need for later Bone Grafting and Gum Grafting.
